The Student Alumni Connection (SAC) is the bridge between students, alumni and the community of Bowling Green State University. We strive to instill pride in BGSU and ourselves by developing opportunities to enhance knowledge, professionalism and leadership.
Award Application Process
Any continuing full-time BGSU student is eligible to apply for this award. You must be a full-time undergraduate student for the 2006-07 academic year (registered for a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester).
2006-2007 Sholarship Winners
Stephen Wagner
Stephen is a sophomore majoring in Health Care Administration where he carries a 3.45 GPA. Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Dance Marathon, Leadershape and working at the University Bookstore are a list of the activities he is involved with.
Laura Nelson
A junior majoring in General Business & Broadcast Journalism where she has earned a GPA of 3.95. Laura is involved with the Honors Student Association, Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society, BG 24 News, BGSUrve and the Residential Student Association.
John Vecchio
John is a senior with a 3.79 GPA, majoring in Criminal Justice. He participates in the following organizations: Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, is a Campus Tour Guide and a member of the Undergraduate Student Government and University Success Program.
Winners must be present to receive their award.

Bob Filipucci and Katrina Caldwell are all smiles standing with Elvis
impersonator, Van Wright (a University Advancement staff member), during the
Beyond BG program held in April where seniors are celebrated. Both students are
Student Alumni Connection Executive Board Members and Alumni Laureate
Scholars.
