Best of BGSU Programming
Accomplished Graduate 2006 recognized 23 outstanding BGSU grads at a formal dinner in March. Prior to dinner and the ceremony, alumni enjoyed appetizers and fellowship with family, friends and BGSU representatives.
The 'Best of BGSU' programs are each wholly designed to provide opportunities for alumni and friends of the university to interact personally and professionally with faculty and BGSU administration. Our mission is to celebrate the excellence of the university community; creating and nurturing connections with faculty, staff, students and alumni through activities on and off campus. Ideally, the programs heighten awareness of the university, our academic programs and the Alumni Association. Each one is structured around three core principles:
- Involvement
The Best of BG programs enable participants to remain abreast of what's going on at BGSU by attending specially-scheduled University updates and educational presentations from guest speakers. - Engagement
By participating in any of the Best of BG programs or events, alumni and friends can stay connected both to the University and to fellow alumni. - Investment
The Best of BG programs invite alumni and friends of BGSU to give back to the university through volunteerism or financial commitment.
