BGSU Alumni Tent Rocks the Rockets on November 28

Student Alumni Association Seeks Extern Sponsors
The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is looking for Extern Sponsors for current BGSU students. The Extern Experience is a program that helps students gain experience in professions related to their major prior to graduation. This is a great way for students to be exposed to the specifics of the job they hope to gain as well as keeping alumni connected to the students and BGSU. To learn more or to fill out a sponsorship form to help support SAA, the Extern Experience, and BGSU students, click here. If you have any questions, please call 419-372-6849.
Event Showcases BGSU Learning Communities
Bowling Green State University, a national leader in the learning community movement, will show off its residential and “themed” learning communities at an open house here on Oct. 17. BGSU's learning communities were featured in the 2003 college issue of U.S. News and World Report. Read more about our learning communities.
New Scholarship Program Launched
Bowling Green State University has launched a program to provide more scholarship assistance for new first-year and transfer students -- particularly academic achievers, Michigan residents and students with the most economic need. Read more.
Alumni Laureate Scholarship Opportunity
Do you know a high school senior who has a 3.5 GPA, a 27 ACT or an 1100 SAT? Please encourage that student to apply for the Alumni Laureate Scholars program at Bowling Green State University. Initiated by the Alumni Board of Directors, this program enriches the BGSU community with extraordinary students from all over the US. Laureate Scholars have demonstrated abilities in the areas of leadership, scholarship and citizenship and excel both in and out of the classroom.
AWARD
* Full tuition scholarship (adjusted annually) and $1,000 book award
* Renewable for six additional semesters (after year 1)
To receive your application packet, contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at 419.372.2701. Applications for the Alumni Laureate Scholars program are due on or before November 14, 2003.
