BGSU's Board of Trustees recently approved centers of excellence in 21st Century Educator Preparation and Developing Effective Businesses and Organizations, and heard a proposal for a fifth in Sustainability and the Environment. Naming honors for former BGSU President Sidney Ribeau were also approved by the trustees. |

BGSU biology major wins prestigious Goldwater Scholarship
Jennifer Chaffin, a BGSU senior in fall 2009, was recently awarded a Goldwater Scholarship, an academic-based honor that pays up to $7,500 per year for tuition and fees, books and more.

The University’s Dallas-Hamilton Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame has inducted Edson “Ted” Arneault, Michael Hoskins, Otara Chandiram Gunewardane and Michael Wilcox.
