Contributing to a brighter future
To date, alumni and friends of BGSU have contributed $358,900 to Sustaining Tomorrow's Scholars, the fund created to help counteract recent declines in the financial markets. Gifts help students directly by funding a scholarship or program in need.

A total of $754,000 is needed to make awards to deserving students for the 2009-10 academic year.

Celebrate history at BGSU
Please join us Saturday, April 25 to help commemorate the historic $146,533,152 received in gifts and commitments during the Building Dreams Campaign.

The Dreams Realized celebration begins at 6 p.m. in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union and will include live performances, dinner and more. RSVP by April 15.


Students vote to support Stroh Center
Undergraduate students recently voted overwhelmingly to support the Stroh Center, BGSU's planned 4,700-seat convocation center.

BGSU's main campus held the election March 27 regarding student government endorsement of a fee to help fund the Center. The building will bring in a new era at BGSU and is the first in a series of investment in campus infrastructure.

BGSU announces Ice Arena study and review of athletic programs
A community and campus working group will explore operational and facility-improvement solutions for the 43-year-old Ice Arena. In addition, a national consultant will help BGSU map the future of its athletic program.

Alum helps Falcons feel at home in Omaha
When BGSU’s men’s basketball team traveled to Omaha to compete in the National Invitational Tournament, they were backed by a pep band formed by Dr. James Saker '67, now director of bands at the University of Nebraska-Omaha (UNO).

BGSU women's basketball associate head coach Jennifer Roos has been named a semifinalist for BasketballScoop.com's Coach of the Year awards. Vote for her now through April 15.
